Potbellied pigs

Wallabies

Wallaby is a miniature version of the kangaroo. They are affectionate and good-natured but need a lot of training to be kept at home and should have at least 50 square foot of play area surrounded by a tall fence. Mature wallabies can have 2 ½ to 3 feet in height and 30 to 40 pounds in weight.

African Pygmy Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are among the most quiet pets for sale and they will make loyal and odor-free friends. They are very small and can be litter box trained. They do not need much space –a cage of 3 - 5 square feet should be enough. Unfortunately, they live only 4 to 6 years and are active only at night.

Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches

They are bigger than ordinary roaches as they can grow to up to 3 inches long and be over an inch wide. They are harmless, docile, keep clean and eat almost everything – from dog food to fruit and vegetables. They are interesting because of the unique hissing sound they make. Their life expectancy is around 5 years, which is extremely long for insects.

There are also many other unusual pets for sale, including various kinds of birds, spiders, insects, fish etc. But before you decide to keep an exotic animal in your home, make sure you know all the conditions that your new pet many require to feel happy and safe as well as stay healthy!
